Diamond saw blade manufacturers told us that the diamond distribution concentration must be within a reasonable range. When the diamond concentration changes from low to high, the sharpness and sawing efficiency of the saw blade gradually decline, while the service life is gradually extended.
Taking advantage of the different functions of each part of the cutter head during sawing and adopting different concentrations, the middle groove is formed on the cutter head during the sawing process, which is conducive to preventing the deflection of the saw blade, so as to improve the quality of stone processing. Then we should pay attention to the selection of diamond strength, which is an important indicator to ensure cutting performance. If the strength is too high, the crystal will not be easily broken, the abrasive particles will be polished during use, and the sharpness will decrease, resulting in deterioration of tool performance; When the strength of diamond is not enough, it is easy to break after being impacted, and it is difficult to bear the heavy task of cutting.
The performance of the selected saw blade does not only depend on the diamond, but also on the overall performance of the composite material composed of diamond and binder.
The feed speed of diamond saw blade will greatly affect its working efficiency.
Therefore, when using diamond saw blades, we must pay attention to the problem of feed speed. The feed speed is actually the feed speed of the sawed stone. Its size affects the sawing rate, the force on the saw blade and the heat dissipation in the sawing area. Its value should be selected according to the nature of the stone to be sawed. Generally, sawing soft stone, such as marble, can appropriately increase the feed speed. If the feed speed is too low, it is more conducive to improve the sawing rate. Sawing fine-grained and relatively homogeneous granite can appropriately increase the feed speed. If the feed speed is too low, the diamond edge is easy to be ground flat.
However, when sawing granite with coarse-grained structure and uneven soft and hard, the feed speed should be reduced, otherwise it will cause the vibration of the saw blade, resulting in diamond fragmentation and reduce the sawing rate.
