Solid wood multi-layer diamond tools have the advantages of high hardness and wear resistance, low friction coefficient, high elastic modulus, high thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion coefficient, and low affinity with non-ferrous metals. It can be used for precision machining of non-metallic hard and brittle materials such as graphite, high wear-resistant materials, composite materials, high silicon aluminum alloys and other ductile non-ferrous metal materials. There are many types of diamond tools with remarkable differences in performance. The structure, preparation methods and application fields of different types of diamond tools are quite different.
1. When placing the diamond tool head on the holder, be careful not to hit the grinding wheel surface.
2. The single point diamond dressing tool head shall not be vertically aligned with the center of the grinding wheel.
3. Hot dressing tools cannot be "quenched". During dry dressing, the interval between two dressing must be kept long enough to cool the hot dressing tool.
4. It cannot be assumed that the grinding wheel surface has ideal flatness. At the beginning of dressing, find out the higher position of the grinding wheel and carry out dressing.
5. Too large removal amount can cause premature wear and frequent breakage of diamond dressing tool head.
