Selection principles of solid wood multilayer diamond tools
(1) Processing requirements
When selecting cutting tools for impregnated paper laminated wood flooring, the wear of J9 tools by wear-resistant paper must be considered. In addition, the decorative wood grain paper and balance paper impregnated with resin are prone to edge collapse during the cutting process, which requires that the cutting edge be kept sharp enough.
(2) Selection principle
The surface scratch resistance and wear resistance of impregnated paper laminated wood floor are realized by Al2O3 evenly distributed in the wear-resistant paper. The hardness of Al2O3 is second only to cubic boron nitride (CBN) and diamond (PCD). At present, it can only be processed with diamond tools. The wear-resistant layer is about 0.15mm thick, which will cause rapid concave wear of the cutting edge. Therefore, the tools for processing the wear-resistant layer, such as pre cutting tools, chamfering tools and finishing tools, should have multiple cutting points in addition to reasonable angles. In addition, the impregnated paper laminated wood floor diamond cutter shall also meet the following requirements:
① High fitting accuracy of center hole, small radial and end runout of cutter teeth;
② Low unbalance during operation;
③ The diamond layer and hard alloy (matrix) have sufficient bonding strength, strength and toughness;
④ Have sufficient durability;
④ Tenon and tenon groove can be adjusted with high adjustment accuracy;
⑤ The cutter structure is reasonable and easy to remove chips and dust.
According to different equipment and lock shape, the selection of tools is different. Even with the same equipment and lock shape, there are different tool options. The choice of cutting tool has a direct impact on the cutting quality, shape and position tolerance and unit cost of cutting tool of impregnated paper laminated wood floor. When selecting tools, the following points should be noted:
(1) Analyze the material characteristics of the cutting object;
(2) Cutting quality requirements, including surface roughness and geometric tolerance requirements:
① The feed rate of each tooth of the pre cutter shall be controlled within 0.3mm-0.4mm;
② The feed rate of each tooth of chamfering cutter and finishing cutter shall be controlled within 0.2mm-0.3mm;
③ The feed rate of each tooth of the forming cutter is controlled within 0.8mm-1.2mm;
④ The feed rate of each tooth of locking knife shall be controlled within 0.6mm-1.0mm.
(3) Research equipment information, including tool shaft speed, tool shaft size and position, feed speed, tool clamping and cutting mode;
(4) The shape of the lock catch of the impregnated paper laminated wood floor is analyzed, and the function of the cutter and the inclination angle of the cutter shaft are reasonably distributed;
(5) Select cutting mode (cylindrical milling, taper milling and end milling) and cutting direction (forward milling or reverse milling);
(6) Reasonably distribute the cutting amount on the left and right sides to make the cutting force on both sides as balanced as possible;
(7) Reasonably select the tool structure to reduce noise and facilitate chip removal.
